New PA House Bill 1538

According to an October, 2016 article in phillyvoice.com House Bill 1538 is being legislated in Pennsylvania. The bill is under consideration in the Senate and has bipartisan support. House Bill 1538 will be effective in protecting the identity of police officers when they fire weapons in police-involved shootings. Because police officers are rarely charged you will never know the identity of the officer unless he or she is prosecuted. The justification is to protect officers and their families.
